saved my sanity

Okay, so one night of doing too many bzp pills in one go, smoking the legal skunk found on this site, and sniffing poppers like it was going out of fashion, I obviously did too much for my system to handle and tripped out in a really, really bad way that was very scarey as I thought I was going insane (no, really!!). I took 2 of these recovery pills and within 5 to 10 minutes came down to a much more manageable space and enjoyed the rest of my high. Now I always ensure I have these around when flying, just in case...Thank god for these little angels xx

...But with this stuff you are in control of when, and it's done without a bump! Only taken one so far and that was when I was tired but at that stage when the buzz was going to go on for another painful couple of hours of trying but failing to sleep. Once the pill kicked in, I started feeling clear, eyesight came down to normal and I relaxed enough to sleep. After a lovely restful 8 hours I got up feeling fresh, had a nice big breakfast (wouldn't usually want to eat proper food all day and only eat sweets/chocs). I did not get any of the usual lows that I often have after a night on pills, and felt ok to talk to people without giving away I’d got wasted. Highly recommended if you like the ups but can’t take the downs.

FYI:

"New evidence suggests that chronic exposure to low levels of nitrous oxide increases infertility in women.  The mechanism is unknown.  A single exposure to a large concentration of N2O has not been linked to decreased fertility.

Heavy prolonged use of N2O has been linked to central and peripheral nerve damage.  Vitamin B12 is inactivated by nitrous oxide, which is needed by the enzyme methionine synthase in order to function.  Dietary B12 supplements may or may not aid recovery from the neuropathy.  Dietary methionine is more likely to be helpful.  The nerve damage, or most of it, is reversible with abstinence from the gas.  The first sign of the neuorpathy is a tingling in the fingers or in the feet.

J.F.Nunn (1987) reports that exposures of less than half an hour appear to be safe, while exposures of over two hours are likely to interfere with the methionine synthase in the liver, a condition that will then last for several days.  Nunn's study thus indicates that the toxicity of N2O can build up over a period of up to three days, implying that judicious users should wait at least that long between heavy sessions.  It is not clear how long an exposure is required to disrupt DNA synthesis to the pont of nerve degeneration, but, considering the decades of nitrous oxide use and abuse, and the rarity of the condition, it is likely that many days of heavy exposure are the danger here, not an evening of inhaling balloons.  People have undergone dental work requiring two hours of nitrous oxide anesthesia twice a week for months at a time.

Nitrous oxide should not be used by pregnant women, nor fertile women seeking that condition.  Ditto all other poisons, but in particular the vitamin B12 deficiency associated with prolonged use of N2O increases the risk of bearing a child with an open spinal cord or an undeveloped brain."

Smilies are probably my fav from london underground, I always get a nice warm and happy glow from them...

You would definetly be OK double dropping but it really depends on when where and why you taken them...if your going out to get bolloxed and you got a recovery day then double drop and then top up with singles through the night...

have fun [:D]

thanks for the advice, yeah i couldn't be bothered with sending it off, paying an extortionate amount of money and waiting ages on the off chance of having my data recovered.

tried the freezing thing, and then tapping gently – no joy so i got pissed off and went at it full throttle with a hammer - now it sounds more like a jet aircraft when it spins up and vibrates loads. well it got my frustration out anyway [:@]

as for the freezing, i haven’t gone bonkers – it really does work. when harddisks get older their read heads expand (due to constant heat) and they get to a point when they can’t read the sectors so they give up. freezing the drives contracts the heads and gives you a quick window to get your data off.

all in all, i have learn’t to back up all my work (not just bits of it); also i think every now and then its good to start with a clean slate (as you can see i am still looking for the positives) [8-|]
